The video is the five-second animation on a green screen, to key out in any video editor.
What is PlayStation Trophy Generator?
PlayStation Trophy Generator makes a trophy pop-up in the style of the PlayStation, with your own words: a gold trophy for finishing your thesis, a bronze one for getting out of bed, or the platinum for finally moving house. Add a picture as the trophy's icon and the name of the "game", and share it as a picture or an animated clip.
The four trophies
- Bronze: the everyday trophy, for the small things.
- Silver: something that took a little effort.
- Gold: a real achievement, rare and hard won.
- Platinum: the trophy for earning every other trophy in a game. In real life: finishing something completely. The pop-up then says "Platinum trophy earned".
Choose one of our pixel icons or upload a photo (a face or a pet works great), and write the game name, or leave it empty. The card slides in from the top like the real one, and the video is five seconds long, on a green screen or on your own picture.
How to use PlayStation Trophy Generator?
- Type the trophy title.
- Pick bronze, silver, gold or platinum, and add a game name if you like.
- Choose an icon or upload your own picture.
- Download a transparent PNG, copy it, or download the animated video.
Frequently asked questions
What is a platinum trophy?
On PlayStation, most games give one platinum trophy, and only once you have earned all of the game's other trophies. That makes it the gamer's word for doing something completely, which is why "I got the platinum" works for everything from finishing a degree to building flat-pack furniture.
How do I put the trophy in a video?
Download the video and put it on a layer above your clip in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or iMovie, then apply the chroma key (green screen) effect to remove the green. Set the position to the top left, where the real pop-up appears, or anywhere you like.
Is this the official PlayStation pop-up?
No. It is our own drawing in the style of the console, made for fun, with no logos or sounds, and the tool is not affiliated with Sony. For other looks, try the Xbox Achievement Generator, the Steam Achievement Generator and the Minecraft Achievement Generator.
