What is Year in Review Maker?
Year in Review Maker turns your photos of the year into a year in review post. Drop in as many photos as you like and each one goes to the month it was taken in, read from the photo itself, so there is no sorting by hand. Then choose what to make: a carousel with a cover, a slide for every month and a last one for the new year, the whole year on one picture, or a story for each month.
Pick a style, from polaroids and film to a clean grid or a magazine page, add a line about each month, and download every slide at once. It is free, with no limit on photos and no watermark, and your photos never leave your browser.

What You Can Do
- Automatic months: photos are sorted by the date they were taken; move any to another month.
- Three kinds: a recap carousel, a collage of the twelve months on one picture, or 9:16 stories.
- A cover with the year, your title and the number of photos and months, and a closing slide for the new year.
- 1 to 6 photos a month, months with none shown or skipped, and a line of your own for each month.
- Six styles: Clean, Polaroid, Film, Scrapbook, Magazine and Y2K, with your own background.
- Downloads: all slides at once, one slide as JPG or PNG, or a PDF to print as a photo book.
How to use Year in Review Maker?
- Add your photos of 2026; they go to their months by themselves.
- Choose a carousel, one picture or stories, and how many photos a month.
- Pick a style, a title, and a line for each month if you like.
- Download, and post the slides as one carousel.
Frequently asked questions
How does it know which month a photo is from?
From the date the camera saved in the photo. Screenshots and photos sent through messaging apps often lose it, and then the file's own date is used, which can be wrong. Choose the right month under any photo to move it; photos from another year are left out until you give them a month.
When should I post my year in review?
Most people post between Christmas and the first week of January. Start collecting your favourite photo of each month in November, so the post is ready when the year ends.
Can I print it?
Yes: download all slides as one PDF for a small photo book, or the one-picture collage to print as a poster of the year. For a looser carousel of any moments, try the Photo Dump Maker, and for a year of music, the Spotify Wrapped.
