Printable square, dot, isometric, hexagon, lined and polar paper in any size, as a sharp vector PDF.
What is Graph Paper Generator?
Graph Paper Generator makes printable graph paper in the size and style you need: a square grid, a dot grid for bullet journals, isometric paper for 3D drawings, hexagons for games, lined paper or polar paper. Choose the grid size in millimetres or inches, the paper size and the colour, and download it as a vector PDF, so the lines print sharp on any printer.

What You Can Do
- Seven papers: square grid, dot grid, isometric, isometric dots, hexagons, lined and polar.
- Any grid size: 2 mm to 1 cm, or 1/8, 1/5 (engineering), 1/4 and 1/2 inch.
- Darker lines every 2, 4, 5 or 10 squares, like engineering paper.
- Paper sizes: A4, US Letter, A5, A3 and US Legal, portrait or landscape, with any margin.
- Colours: light blue, grey, green, black or red lines on white or cream paper.
- Name and date line for school, and a red margin on lined paper.
- Download a vector PDF of up to 50 pages, or a 300 dpi PNG.
How to use Graph Paper Generator?
- Pick the paper: square, dot, isometric, hexagon, lined or polar.
- Choose the paper size, the grid size and how often a darker line comes.
- Pick the colours and the margin, and how many pages you want.
- Download the PDF and print it at 100% (actual size) so the squares keep their size.
Frequently asked questions
Will the squares be exactly the size I chose?
Yes, as long as you print at 100% (or "actual size"), not "fit to page". The PDF is drawn in millimetres at the true paper size, so a 5 mm grid prints at 5 mm.
What is isometric paper for?
Isometric paper has lines at 30 degrees on each side and straight up, so cubes, rooms and 3D shapes are easy to draw without a ruler for angles. The dot version gives the same guide with less on the page. For other printables, see the Printable Calendar Generator.
What is engineering graph paper?
Engineering paper has five squares to the inch, with a darker line every five squares, so every darker square is one inch. Choose the 1/5 inch grid and a darker line every 5 squares, on Letter paper.
