Pinecone Matches Unveils INIBOX MATCHES X1 ULTRA: A New Generation of Professional 4.1 MH/s RandomX Mining

Pinecone Matches announces the next generation of its professional RandomX mining platform, combining up to 4.1 MH/s performance with an enterprise-focused thermal, power and management architecture.

The X1 ULTRA is designed specifically around the computational requirements of the RandomX algorithm and is optimized for Monero (XMR).

The platform delivers a maximum published hashrate of up to 4.1 MH/s, with a typical operating range of 3.9–4.1 MH/s. Its published typical power consumption is approximately 3,950 W, with maximum power consumption of approximately 4,250 W and an efficiency figure of approximately 960 J/MH under optimized operating conditions.

Rather than adapting conventional workstation hardware for mining, Pinecone Matches has developed the X1 ULTRA as a dedicated RandomX execution platform designed around high-density compute, memory bandwidth, cache utilization, workload distribution and continuous operation.

GEN III Triple-Zone Thermal Architecture

One of the defining features of the X1 ULTRA is its GEN III Triple-Zone Dynamic Cooling Architecture.

The system uses six industrial PWM axial fans in a balanced 3 × 2 configuration, together with dedicated thermal channels designed to manage the compute arrays, high-bandwidth memory, voltage regulation modules, power-delivery circuitry and control electronics.

The architecture is designed to separate major thermal zones and improve airflow management during sustained workloads.

The published acoustic performance is approximately 75–79 dB under sustained maximum mining load, reflecting the industrial cooling requirements of a high-power professional mining server.

Enterprise-Oriented Power and Management

The X1 ULTRA incorporates an integrated high-efficiency power platform with a published conversion efficiency of 96%+, industrial active power-factor correction and multiple protection systems, including over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, thermal and surge protection.

For operators managing mining infrastructure remotely, the system includes an embedded ARM-based management controller and browser-based management console.
