Alterable

Alterable is real-time image personalization for email. You paste one image tag into your template, and Alterable renders the picture at the moment each recipient opens the message, so the content reflects that person and that moment instead of the state of the world when you hit send.

Six building blocks are included:

- Countdown timers for sales, webinars and launches, including evergreen timers that run per recipient.
- Dynamic images that swap based on targeting rules: device, location, local weather, time of day, date, language and more.
- Dynamic products that show live price and stock pulled from your catalogue.
- Local maps that show each reader their nearest store or event, geocoded automatically.
- Scratch-and-win cards with prize draws and per-play tracking.
- One-click surveys with results collected straight from the inbox.

Each element is created in a visual editor with sensible styling defaults, then exported as an embed snippet that works in Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Iterable, Marketo and any other ESP that accepts an image URL. Impression stats, survey votes and scratcher plays are available per service.

Alterable also ships a public REST API, Zapier and Make apps, and an MCP server so AI assistants like Claude can create and update timers, products and merge tags directly.
